Inception - Dream of the Monocle Inception - Dream of the Monocle

basically there has clearly been some bad village play from multiple players, today we need to go over the broad player list and assign likely wolf/villa distributions and cover known power roles

then we lynch the wolfiest player in this thread - or more importantly, whoever i say is the wolfiest player
08-27-2011 , 01:56 PM
pretty sure OD is almost 100% villa

Mikey, what are your thoughts on CDL based on what happened when shanks was lynched? Why didn't you vote shanks?
08-27-2011 , 01:56 PM
ok i really am off for now, be back sometime this evening

everyone else good luck with the storm

I don't remember what happened...

The dream ended very early for a west coaster...I got to the thread and it ended in a half hour. I got like one post in to summarize the previous day...
08-27-2011 , 02:13 PM
I don't even remember shanks posting in that thread...

What made you think J.D. was a villager in Butterfly Pin?
08-27-2011 , 02:16 PM
Tone...and a little bit of a J.D. tell.

J.D. as a wolf provides short free-association type posts. As a villa his posts are more constructed.

I noted in that thread that this is sort of a reverse tell. Usually wolves appear more fabricated...but I believe JD to be the opposite.

Hifi, what made you think CDL was villagery? He made a very strange post about Loretta having tried to pick villagers n0 for Dragon Key which obviously couldn't have been the case since it was n0. He also wanted out of Spinning Top when JoshFan started getting votes.
08-27-2011 , 02:19 PM
I'd also like you to tell me why you think Gadarene was villagery. Clearly there was a consensus that everyone in Dragon Key was a villager which I reject, partly because Gadarene was suspicious in Spinning Top. I really think you guys wasted a lynch opportunity there.

Have at it.

There will be a lynch today. Villagers are going to need to find time to be active today so we can resolve a sound lynch.

Aaronk56son and Anarchist voted a villager yesterday, they will have to account for their sins.

Supine was quiet in Spinning Top before I was booted from it and failed to cast a vote after I left. He will have to account for that.

Treefiddy and chrisrjdk will need to account for their performances thus far as well.

This game is way more confusing than the film, which I just watched.

anarchist standard etc

I'm euro and it is weekend. I'll try to be more active this dream. Rest assured I am a villager.
08-27-2011 , 02:43 PM
...

Get your vote off anarchist right now. We aren't voting until everyone has had a chance to post. Surely by now you realize wolves have power to end dreams when they want.
08-27-2011 , 02:45 PM
All wolves? Seem strange.

unvote tho.

He seemed to be actively wolfhunting and genuinely having trouble finding wolves. He ended up parking his vote on OD because it was the only vote which didn't seem completely absurd.

Gad didn't post that much from what I remember. Since I can't go back and reread, it's tough to say

But I can say that those d1 reads, just like any others, are subject to change based on recent developments and new information. If you think they've been wolfy, make your case and I'll listen with open ears.
08-27-2011 , 02:49 PM
If Gad didn't post much I don't know why you guys were so convinced you were all villagers and had all agreed to end your dream without a lynch.

No lynch is anti-village in this setup. The village only has a finite amount of kills and no lynching loses us kills. We need wagons, we need the info those wagons provide, and we need kills.
08-27-2011 , 03:07 PM
This is going to be pretty hopeless if everyone is going to just lurk and not post.
08-27-2011 , 04:09 PM
I am here now mates

There appeared to be some problems with my private messaging capabilities last night, so I had to reroute in order to properly get my dream assignment from the mod

HiFi is a villager

I believe pwns and WERx > rand to be villagers despite voting a villager last night

I think that J.D. is > rand to be a wolf for b*tching at us for trying to no lynch in a 6er and instead insisting on hard pushing either me or bbf, who flipped villa last night

I will say that he was quick to affirm my tell in the other dream. He doesn't strike me as the type to normally do that.

Just ftr, we were kicked into the main dream before we could lynch. I thought gad was villagery from what I remembered, but it's tough to confirm anything now.

I also think that akson knew he was going to start dreaming on his own before it happened yesterdream. Not sure if that makes any difference though.
