Honestly I don't know how you normally clue for each situation

I thought colorful - unlimited would get them paint/parrot/snap
so colorful - 2 would say not quite that and they might get there

also considered colorful - 3 and orange - 3 but wasn't sure how they'd interpret 3 (fire can be one of those and band technically too)

Also Snap was neutral and you had 4 left and Stingray guesses were not close so I didn't want to risk anything after game 1

nice clues wahoo - think your reasoning is good - you could do colorful for 3 for agent orange like JM3 said but think we can find it anyway - unlimited would be more likely to get the first scenario you said

N-1 clue where n is your team’s total clues (9 red, 8 blue) means your top word on your list is correct

Unlimited means keep going down the list you posted

So in this case, you clue a 3 clue and then they know it’s 100% not snap

Colorful works for agent and agent is best band word other than maybe snap so they get their easily

Color - unlimited would be paint+snap+agent because unlimited would mean both words were right otherwise you woulda clue 2 or 3

I've always felt it could change on circumstance - in this case wahoo's best option is to clue for 3 but what if it was hard to link and he could do 2 and the 2nd word on the list is right? think it was a good way of going about it - for unlimited i woulda decided how "oney" or "twoey" the clue feels and picked 1 or both of the list accordingly

You can’t clue for every circumstance, just try to group words together with clues that makes it as flexible as possible

N-1 meaning your top word is right is the most straightforward, most clear, and highest ev...playing it any other way will lose more than it wins by far

We have yet to come up with a good way to clue if the second word on your list is right and the first is wrong.

The best way is to clue to n even if the 2nd word is a stretch...if it fits at all, there is a good chance it’s your word because you know the first on your list is wrong and there is a good chance that the 2nd is one of the only options left for that earlier clue and if it kinda fits with current clue then it’s likely the best option.

So I think playing it that way, where cluing to n means give extra thought (but not 100%) to the second word on your list, is best

But n-1 is a 100% confirmer of your top word, and nothing is better than 100%

Maybe stingray instead of Stingray. Use the animal connection instead of the vehicle connection. With ground as an option with floor and bed, it would take me two rounds to get there, but I probably don't get to mount.

Yea I was definitely thinking of it the way Ervin does with more flexibility but it may be better to have rigid rules not sure.

There were multiple animals on the board. I made the vehicle connection in the hopes that those others would be avoided. But yes, I also agree that it was a bad clue.
