The more I look at bugle the more I hate it, but I legit have no idea what else it could be that doesn’t either hit one of their clued words (they’re complete - Nich’s already clued 10 words) or have a much easier connection to file than toolshed.

Reading back, it could be pistol. And thy could’ve been for arenas while file and poison were toolshed. I’m going to be pissed if we go with pistol and it’s theirs from bomb, but it’s starting to make a lot more sense to me now.

And there are enough overlaps with Astro and bomb that I don’t think they need pistol and can stay away from it relatively easily.

Regardless, I’m definitely not landing on something before tomorrow morning. Will check back in around 7.

I'm between bugle/superhero/pistol/paper.

Bugle - no easy way to link. Maybe mp3 though. Repertoire would hit paper harder.
Superhero - don't see a link at all except for thinking of your handy toolshed man as a hero. Which is possible - and works for arenas.
Pistol - doesn't really work for toolshed, works a little for arenas. I like this one least especially with loose equity from their side.
Paper - idea here would be poison wasn't an arena word(or intended to give more equity) and we're trying to link all 3.

So bugle has a little bit of equity with both but perhaps mp3 or something would have been the clue. The thing I'm kind of stuck on is are we missing an arena word and where did poision fit in? If it's more for the toolshed it opens up a lot of options but if it was for arena then perhaps superhero? It's weird because it seems like an equity try so this word should have a little bit of both

It’s possible Nich clued bomb with pistol being ours because he was able to do a 6 clue and he didn’t figure that fly would be guessed ahead of pistol. In most cases I’d say pistol is neutral at worst for them. But this isn’t most cases. They logiced themselves away from pistol but ended up guessing fly as a result.

Okay, I think it’s either Bugle or Paper. Since Paper would’ve been easier to connect with File, I think it’s Bugle and that it’s our final arenas word.

Astro was for Chevy Astro, a popular van in the 80s/90s.

Astro - 4: van, giant, boom (big bang, asteroids, etc), Greece (greek mythology)

bomb - 6: van (like in Arlington Road and other movies, they fill van full of c4 and explode it), code (disarm a time bomb), boom, pistol (another weapon), bar (of c4), mine (you use tnt/c4 in mines to blow them up and then get resources)

Both weren't great, but it would have taken me 4-5 turns going with normal clues so had to try something
