There is no reason to move the b or g pawns 2 spaces. Moving 1 space frees the Bishop and supports the c or f pawn when it gets moved those 2 spaces.

I wouldn't call a 1 in 8 chance of retaliation support.

Depending on what your other piece is you'll likely be moving your pawn the 2nd space next turn and just taking 2 turns what you could do with 1.

But you may have more options, like capturing. Besides, I don't think a mad rush down the field will be that useful. Slower pawn movement increases the chance for piece development.

Wel it was already on g3. If your piece has no legal moves it is better to push your pawn forward than pass. Hey you might promote to queen uncontested in this format

For future versions of this it might be nice to have a Supermove option you can use once every 10 moves, just like the pass option. If you use your supermove it goes into the rand 5? times instead of once. Or maybe even overrides all other moves?

Agree super move could be cool. And seems like a good balance for passing. Obv if 2 people use a super move, itd go to a rand between those imo.

A couple of things:

I've not really gotten into sending emails out yet, apologies for that.

Also for a few of you, you're sending the same move repeatedly. If you want to send send me "this move until I say otherwise", feel free.

Finally, editing the image is a little fiddly, so the game record is king in case it differs from the image.
