The threads will be divided by player join date. The randing will be pure, so there is indeed a statistical possibility one thread will have 0 wolves

I was Ginny myself in HP5 and got wolfpeeked by Larry Legend who was Sybill Trelawny, some village insane seer. That was lame, but so was the rest of that game.
In HP 8 I was Arthur Weasley, I don't remember my powers, they were probably few and in HP9 I was Ernie ****ing McMillan

Did you start splitting D1 threads after that game? Does it just make it more manageable mod wise?

even if you don't have 72 why not just have 3 threads anyway? i would much rather play with a more manageable group of people than have the game 100% balanced - aren't the number of live players in each game going to become uneven anyway based on ITAs?

Yeah not that I think it should be too much of a concern with my 2008 Luckbox reg date, but if it does go to three threads and matters, I have a 2004 too.

Splitting makes it easier to play, but more work for the mod. The reason I'm doing it this game is to lower the barrier for entering. No massive day 1 thread to plow through

I'm not splitting based on balance. I don't mind if one thread is 1-2 players bigger than the other. I just think threads < 24 players are a bit small and threads up to 35 players can be easily managed. Also there are some other considerations, like the number of players that is killed on day 1, which is f(number of threads)

I think you don't need to worry much. Most of the spammers are probably in the other thread.
