Welcome to the Harry Potter X - The Reunion Mishmash!

This game does not feature many rules or mechanisms. We expect these to be read and understood by all players. Ignorance is not going to help you escape the wrath of JK Rowling.

• General ww rules can be found HERE. Obligatory stuff for newbie players and for oldtimers that might have forgotten about them.
• Day will be from 08:00-21:00 EST (2+2 server time). Starting day 2, ITA periods will be at 11:00 EST and 18:00 EST.
• The format Bold Red is used for game actions. If you use this format, make sure it cannot be mistaken for a game action.
• Werewolf is a participation game. If you participate insufficiently, you risk being subbed, modkilled or kissed by a Dementor.
• Do not discuss anything related with modding this game and/or PMs in the thread. Instead, ship a PM to JK Rowling.
• One deadpost is allowed. Try to make us laugh, not frown at yours.

About claiming:

• You may freely claim your character, role and/or abilities. There are no anti-claim mechanisms in this game.
• You may not reproduce flavor in your role (the why you have an ability) or directly quote from your role PM.
• Some unclaimable abilities will be in this game. Hinting at or suggesting you have an unclaimable ability is very bad for your health, even if it is made up.
• Non-villagers have been provided useful information for making up fake claims.
• Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape and Dumbledore are guaranteed to be in the game. Any other character claim you believe is at your own peril.

THE BASICS

• Spells are cast during one of the two ITA periods (11:00 and 18:00 EST)
• Every day you may cast 1x Avada Kedavra +1x Crucio OR 3x Crucio
• Additionally, every ITA period you may cast one Stupefy or Expelliarmus.

GENERAL RULES

• All spells are to be written in Bold Red. Timing is often a factor, so abbreviations and misspelled spells may be ignored, especially at ITA start
• You may cast multiple spells in a single post, as long as you adhere to their respective limits
• If you cast a spell at a player that just got killed, you may try again.

SPELL EFFECTS

• Avada Kedavra - To instantly kill a player
• Crucio - To slowly kill a player. A player hit with 3 Crucios will die. Crucios do not wear off
• Expelliarmus - To disarm a player. That player cannot cast spells during that ITA period
• Stupefy - To stun a player. That player cannot cast spells and has Agility=0 during that ITA period.

SPELL DEFENSE

• All players autocast Protego (if able) when a spell is cast vs them and reduce the probability of being hit (10% Protego will reduce a 30% spell to 27%). Protego does nothing vs Avada Kedavra
• Players have an Agility which will help them dodge Avada Kedavra (10% Agility will reduce a 30% AK to 27%).

WANDS

• Players will start the game with a wand that casts at 100%, unless described otherwise in your role PM. In the game you can gain wand upgrades.
• Every wand upgrade represents a 10% increase in your spellcasting. For example, if your Crucio is 20%, with a twice upgraded wand it will become 120%*20 = 24%.

During day 1, you would like to see as many toast poasts from players as possible. It's not that you should need incentive to make the game more awesome, but there will be some rewards randed to players that post their toast.
