yea but

villagers should never wifom as wolf/jester (maybe fringe exceptions but idc)

so everybody presenting as nonvillagery should just be killed

village has the kp to kill all 5 nonvillage and still win

and im not sure about peoples' abilities to discern jesters from wolves

though jesters are distinct from wolves in that wolves have TMI of their teammates and the jesters are still lone and kind of have villager perspective in a sense

"wine in front of me" in reference to the scene from the princess bride (1988)

refers to situations where you have to infer thought processes that could go either way as to why somebody would, for instance, present as scummy on purpose (they could be jester or they could be wolf trying to present as jester to try to dissuade voting)

but there's no particular reason to believe it's one way over the other
