i almost guessed london bridge, but just went w/ london. looked london-y, thought "oh, is that london bridge?" and that's about it

so yes, even though i didn't say it, i'm one of the idiots that just assumed "looks like london, its a bridge, must be the london bridge". but i learned something

Not me. I just knew the Photo wasnt taken from Tower Bridge, because you can see it in the oucture

I could see the conical shadow of the building that the pic was taken from, but did not know the name of the building. The Tower Bridge was pretty prominent and recognizable so figured it could not be the worst answer..

I couldn't remember whether the railway station was more likely to be London bridge or charing cross. But city hall was closer than tower bridge so I figured I'd be bound to beat at least one person.

Essaouira, a beautiful city on the Western coast of Morocco.

Interesting facts- Jimi Hendrix visited in the '60s, and as such, he is much vaunted in the city.

Clues were:
1) White houses & blue doors, the theme of Essaouira
