it's been a year so i was digging documents off a computer that got swallowed up by windows 10 updates

and i was transferring links to a spreadsheet trying not to look who submitted what. I did find my doc and see that you sent two links. The first link was just a half link, the second was the full link to the one i listened to.

just listened to acid version, tchaz. I like las Natas better by far.

don't know if that one would have cracked the top ten. love the groove still but without them actually singing audibly it lacks something.probably would have been in the 8-13 range

Such an odd choice and so different than everything else in this category. It went with a mysterious ghost encounter, both romantic and creepy. The song is pure joy with a hint of passion and a bit of creepiness. The horn section is great. Love the girl's voice. It really escalates this song. I think if it were just the guy singing it would have fallen by the wayside but he complements her nicely. The band is tight and pure and great. And the "heys" are a great hook. Now let's watch the video, shall we? OMG it is a great piece of work. It doesn't match the song's story, but rather it's a great story on its own. The animation and the live action mix are great. A neat fantasy horror. D&D epic style. The monsters are so cool. And the angel matching the power and femininity of the female singer. Definitely a video point for this one. Each time a monster sings "hey" I think increased the position of this one. That chorus is so good.

Another saw entry... I don't know what to say except STOP GIVING ME MOVIE SCORES! This epitomizes what doesn't work in a walrus. In fact I don't see any difference between this and the War of the Worlds one from scifiround. Yes dramatic. Overdramatic. Uberdramatic. Call my uber. Have him bring me a real song. THis isn't a song. Doesn't work on any level as a song. It's just what happens when the credits roll by in a theatre...you know who hears it? That lonely guy with no life that stays for every movie...until he's kicked out. I really think this entire thing was done in a studio on an apple. Dull boring. Lifeless.

OMG where has this song been all my life? This group. So edgey and creepy and super altrock. So talented and complex. That pumped up organ doing that riff and the great drum beat. The guitars layering in. Really like the singer. Dark and brooding but not the kind I want to punch in the face for being emo american idol wannabe. Excellent song and perfect for the category. Sensational. The lyrics sublime. It's poetic oblivion. Heart and soul. One will burn. This song is relentless in its meter very much like the Halloween theme. Gives a real creepiness and tension to it and that guitar playing in the background...so subtle in the distance. Then the loud strumming. Great tune. Just great.
