Yours would have been my favourite - but that's because I spend a lot of time on YouTube watching music videos.
Others may not agree. There used to be a game on here that was like this but all music videos.
Every category was about music so most people could relate to every category (if they were into music).
BTW, we didn't get to draft but here's what I had for you (if I remember how to insert videos):

Sounds good...............but...............maybe someone had a video better than The Highmarts for rickroll.
We could at least save the music part of this by others submitting the music video that they had ready to submit for rickroll's judgement.
I wouldn't mind seeing what everyone else had in mind for this (although The Highmarts do look/sound like easy winners!).

For each decade from 2010s back to 19??s, draft a year with the least impressive output.

In the chatter, people can say "OMG that year had [REDACTED], [REDACTED] AND [REDACTED]. WTF are you thinking?"

tho seems like we need to draft more than one thing....so maybe we do grab bag just everyone does a movie category

like yours would best movie year
eye's would be worst movie year
someone else may choose movie genre for their category
another would choose Steve Martin movie
etc

No.

The standard way this works is where each person picks a category.

Then a draft order is set and when it's their turn, each person drafts one element from one category. Then the next person drafts and picks from a category (could be the same category as the person before or a different one).

Process continues until everyone has drafted in every category except their own.

Sometimes there is a judging element where the people who made the category rank all of the selections and award points, with the best total score winning.

yeah, now people need to start posting the category they want; anything movie related goes; remember that the same thing can't be drafted more than once, even if different categories, so Die Hard can't be drafted for Action movie and Christmas movie

OK, let's see if I've got this right. My category is:

Roger Corman's (directed by) best movie.

It will be my ranking not the IMDB ranking.
If someone submits a RC movie that I haven't seen, I will try to find it streaming somewhere so I can rank all of your opinions against mine.
