Happy with 2nd there. Can't feel bad about being beaten by something that was a win for entirely unknowable reasons.

I kinda figured that Foo Fighters was in your wheelhouse considering what you've submitted to Walruses in the past.

Going to save the podium and nodium for later.

So other than the nodium, all the selections were at least pretty good. I had not seen the majority of entries and for a couple I had not seen any of the series. Whether I had seen the episode or a least part of the series probably did not help or hurt you as episodes I had seen previously scored poorly and some brand new series' scored well.

In ninth place was an episode I had not seen. I watched an episode or two of the series but it didn't really catch my interest.



Be Right Back - Black Mirror Season 2 Episode 1.

Not bad but not great. The twist at the end was meh. At least for me.

In eighth place was an episode from a series I had seen all of but was not a big fan of. MrsAK loves the series which explains why I have seen it all.

With that said, the episode was better on its second viewing and I enjoyed it. However it wasn't as enjoyable as anything rated above it.

Fleabag Season 2 Episode 1

In seventh place was an old-time comedy episode by one of the greatest TV icons.

Unfortunately, I don't think bolt picked the best episode from the show which cost him a bit in the ratings.

Fun fact MrsAk asked me what I was doing from the other room when I was watching this episode and when I answered that I was watching the episode of I Love Lucy called "Lucy does a Commercial," She said "Oh the one with Vitameatavegamine."

I also considered the chocolate factory and the grape stomping.

Now we get to the bottom of the top half with an episode I hadn't seen from a series I watched a decent amount of.

The next three episodes were all rated very closely and I could easily have picked this episode fourth.

This was a clever episode from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I wasn't sure what to expect before watching it, but they did a great job with the musical format; well-written songs, good production values and mostly good singing (Anthony Head was the exception).

Once More With Feeling

In fifth place, Zurvan gets a shout-out for picking this episode, he also gets a slap on the head for spoiling the first season. I hadn't seen The Good Place but after watching this episode we started watching the series and I think it's great.

Michael's Gambit

Sorry. I thought the write up mentioned that there was a big twist here. I should've been more explicit that you need to watch the full season first.

In fourth place, is an episode from another series I had not seen. While I liked the episode slightly better than Michael's Gambit, the series which I started watching after seeing this episode isn't as good. MrsAk, particularly, doesn't like it so if I end up watching all of it, I'll have to do it on my own.

A very funny episode which was enjoyable to watch even though I knew nothing about the characters. I had no idea what the relationship was between any of them when I watched this but it still was a fun viewing.

Community - Remedial Chaos Theory

Going to take a break, to build up suspense before I finish the reveal.

This is an odd series for me. Sometimes I like it a lot. Sometimes I don't like it at all. Curious.

The first few episodes from season 1 is kinda meh, like season 1 of Parks and Rec

But so many good episodes

You can always skip around to the good ones, but it’s worth sticking with early and the misses to get all the hits

But otherwise just go to IMDb and sort by ranking and watch the top 40 or so episodes


I thought about the paintball episodes, dungeons and dragon episodes, blanket fort, pillow fort vs blanket fort, etc as some popular options for this submission


It’s a different kind of show because they have dozens and dozens of theme episodes (claymation, puppets, inside a GI Joe episode, Godfather but with controlling supply of chicken nuggets in the cafeteria, an episode where they are in a video game, 4-5 paintball episodes, a zombie outbreak episode, floor is lava episode, etc etc)


And then ones referencing pop culture like Nicolas Cage episode, Who’s the Boss episode, etc


Given you liked the one I submitted, you’ll like some of the other popular themed episodes.

For a non-fan, I think the first D&D episode is probably the best one - except it's no longer available on streaming because of the blackface.
