Thanks. The DC game is mainly Omaha. It can be very profitable if you can make a few hands, or deadly if you don't. It can attract the raisebots, and even if it gets to be reraised in a natural way, it will end up capped pre. My last two session are $200+.
Lately the morning hold'em game has been starting very late, so that DC is the only choice at the time I can play. It has worked out okay for me, even though I am a hold'em specialist.
Worst guy to have in a game is the NL player who, for some reason, is in your 3/6 limit game. "Can't protect your hand ... Nobody folds for $3 or $6... etc" There was a guy in the game that I had never seen before. He acted like an experienced player who was a NL guy. But when he silently took a fistful of chips to make a call, the dealer made him raise because he brought out enough for a raise. He complained about that, saying that nowhere else does that. Some of us pointed out that everywhere we play does that. If he raised or donked on the river it was the nuts. Not a good player, but good for the game, if you could stomach his attitude.
I'm going to try to get out for an evening session with a buddy in a week or two - a chance to play some hold'em. But the omaha has been good to me lately.....
Enough about me. I'm sure you will turn it around right away. Maybe try something different. Different limit, structure, or game. Maybe some HORSE, or limit Hold'em.
