She has 32 Golden Globe nominations which is more than anyone else. She has 8 wins, more than anyone else if you don't count lifetime achievement type awards.

Of course, I'm talking about Meryl Steep

She has a multitude of amazing performances in classic films, but she is also able to elevate more mundane movies into something pretty good. I was re-watching The Devil Wears Prada the other day, and I realized the movie would be absolute drivel without Meryl Steep. Her performance makes the film pretty watchable.

Steep is unreal value here and I'm very happy to have her on my team.

It is the basis for pretty much all communication today. Cell phones (and landlines, to a great extent), the internet, television, and even radar all depend on the wireless communication that is radio.

My understanding is that those technologies rely on the emission of radio waves. A radio is just one technology that interprets the waves vocally

Fwiw, I'm grading my category on people digging a bit deeper than surface level. You might find me talking about some of my favorite Futurama side characters on this site, but to truly have a good pick, you have to go deeeeeeeeeeeeeep into their catalog.

I have a clear number 1 in mind, and if anybody chooses it, they will get my top pick. But it would surprise me greatly if they do.
