I sort of meant abstract geographical research by looking at a world map and seeing what kind of place has Russian-looking people and a beach and palm trees and heavy coats and foreboding weather and blue skies, climate-wise, rather than doing specific google image searches

Sorry, I just assumed it was unlimited.

This city is a bit more obscure than average, so I'm going to say that everyone is allowed to look at a map for inspiration of cities to guess, but no other research is allowed.
