Yeah, very different. Because it's midnight sun, the nightlife there kicks off at about midnight and runs all night. Culturally, due to the small population of Iceland I guess, celebrity worship is an alien idea, so a lot of celebrities go out and party there knowing they won't be hassled. People said Mick Jagger has been a regular. Cameras are banned in bars and clubs there for that reason. Also, gender roles are less constrained, I was in a group of a few guys and we were approached by a woman clearly looking to pick up, which has pretty much never happened to me elsewhere in the world. According to surveys, Icelanders have more sex than any other country in the world.
