Dont know if ITA's were explained properly but Im a noob as well. Basically you can fire at whoever you like during that timeframe. You can only shoot once in a daytime unless your role says differently. Best is to coordinate with the village like "Ill be shooting X in 3 minutes" to make sure you dont xpost and shoot at the same player. This will also give some time to the village to accredit your shot instead of you shooting someone out of nowhere. If you shoot someone the mod will usually 'rand' your shot (whether it hits or misses) and will reveal that. If you hit someone they die instantly and are revealed unless they are being protected against shots by a certain role (angel or whatever). This can be a protection for all day or just a single shot. It could even deflect the shot to someone else and killing them instead. Now Im a noob so I just put down whatever I know about ITA's, you're all welcome to correct me if Im wrong.

Best way for the village to handle ITAs is to elect a captain who is active and relatively clear who will take advice from others and dole out the shats. Even if you have a wolf directing it isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world. At worst you're not heroshatting. Smart village will reconcile wagons and such. It's too easy. It will play itself out.

the mashes i've read (That disneyland one that got bumped a few days ago is awesome) i don't think people are really expected to keep up entirely, just to interact while you're around and maybe reread some stuff when you get a chance

so what determines whether someone you shoot at gets killed or not?

AFAIK the shots are randed, so say you have 80% efficiency or whatever and they rand a number in that 80 the shot hits. If they rand in the other 20 the shot misses. Never been a game mod but I feel like thats how it sort of works. Its really pretty chaotic these ITAs because there will also be wolves trying to shoot villagers without being obvious about it. On the other hand there are wolves waiting to snipe wolfmates who just killed a PR villager or whatever to appear villagey. Its a pretty sick mind**** all in all.
