I love POG and would do a lot for it, but I would be an objectively terrible moderator. Everyone knows it and no one would never offer me that job and I would never accept it anyway.

This is what I think as well and what I hope happens but most of all, I think they should decide fairly soon. There have not been any good posts for some pages now.

The fact that you think you will be terrible and your preemptive refusal is what makes you the man for the job. One of the few pulses left that is POG werewolf, it would be much easier for you to slightly mold things into the right direction from the inside.

I hope the current band thinks about it and ends up making you an offer you can't refuse.

Can I please just remind posters to talk about the issue if they have something to say about that and not to make it personal?

Also, posting about women's ageing affecting their worth, particularly aimed at another poster, and describing women as "whores" is unacceptable in any thread in this forum.

I think that after you opened this thread, more or less everyone expected for the mods to produce a ruling on the matter.

For you, to drop in, post something snide and worthless, and then drop out again. For others, perhaps a chance to talk about the issues and consider whether change would be better.

By all means, flay me for working on the premise that the men in this forum are actually grown up enough to talk like adults about it. Perhaps some of them have noticed how few women post regularly in our forum. Perhaps they don't care. Perhaps they prefer to float in a sea of testosterone. Fair enough.
