Hidden (not Outed) wolves cannot be killed by wolves. All shots will produce a MISS
Anyone shooting and killing a hidden wolf is therefore always a villager (AKA Lock Clear)
Anyone shooting at a Lock Clear player becomes Outed. It doesn't matter whether the shot misses or hits
An Outed player can be a wolf or villager! Crossposting is possible and unaware villagers do exist.
An Outed wolf loses his/her friendly fire protection and can now be killed by teammates
Shooting and killing an Outed player will therefore not lock clear you
If an Outed player shoots and kills a hidden wolf (s)he immediately upgrades to Lock Clear and loses the Outed status
Needless to say, an Outed wolf cannot do this, due to rule #1
Silent shots and illegal shots can never change your formal game status to Outed or Lock Clear
When shots are processed, changes of Outed/Lock Clear status will be revealed as well

I technically didn't target the confirmed town with the shot according to rule 3.

Correct. You were not outed by shooting younguns. You were outed by splashing to a lock clear villager:

This game has been relatively quiet compared to the Counter Strike games.

I know that if I would find myself alive after the initial onslaught and have shots left, I would quickly review who-shot-who and try to make a +EV decision myself. But if you signed up to not even do that, I got no problem with that

Normally i would do that too

But odds are you just get shot while reading. Lol

I think it just depend how its advertised tbh.

I remember jays shots game was played very much like a vanilla+ and everyone took it pretty serious.
It was great.

Fortnite mechanics fit perfect tho, great addition
