I’m confused by the strategy you’re taking here. You want to actively not guess either word that we both agree fits brick because they might touch floor and floor was only a 1 clue.

I don’t understand how guessing the field is safer than guessing one of the two words that connects to brick - a clue we know we need a 2nd word for.

Let’s say church isn’t ours. Do you think it’s more likely to be red or orchid than neutral? Do you think DZ is legit giving clues that hit a word on the board twice and that word is worse than neutral?

If that’s what he’s doing, then we’re going to lose anyway. So might as well guess church or nail and just get it over with.

At least rose and (red) bricks can kind of be connected. If you’re adamant about not bolding either church or nail, then please bold rose.
