TRUE actual shroops, however, are a decent way to catch wolves. They happen very rarely imo, though. Its being able to recognize what is actually a shroop versus what is just a dumb typo that matters.

Thanks for the explanation.. and I actually really like your thought process above about the defensiveness of

sort of like a "none of your business". i think this because he answers my question with another question, but then answers what i wanted in brackets - as if it was secondary information and he didnt really want to answer it.

think about it - it's standard to reply "yes it is" and THEN question my motives, rather than question the motives and then answer my question.
However, I'm not sure how I feel about you reaching the conclusion you did. Halfway through that post I was kinda excited that you were going to talk about this is wolf logic and I was getting on board. Then you dropped it because he used "but" instead of "so".

Kind of clever, I thought, but I don't at all agree with his read on you.
I have to admit, this strikes me as villagery thought process.

I am having trouble reconciling his thought process above as a villager.

Should read: as a villager's thought process.

Hostile? Wat?

Kwamis post does qualify as shroop, but I don't know him well enough to know what that means from him.

So far, I got aa0 as village, cat lean vil, dan lean vil. Still like my aces vote. Kwami im neutral on I guess

I don't mind his theories.. but his conclusion seems forced. He has this great buildup of the way kwami is thinking and then "he said but instead of so! villa!"

Maybe I just don't get it.

That is not a shroop at all.

I can understand the new folks as apparently usage has changed.. but Mets should not be considering that a shroop.

How does kwami's post qualify as a shroop? Isn't a shroop a post that looks like it's been edited but something that was meant to be taken out was instead left in? I use "but" in that spot a lot. It may not be correct grammar, but it's still a natural word choice.

I caught that, too. I'm only leaning slight wolf on aao atm though and will probably give him some more time before I make a case as I'm used to his rather convoluted thought processes.

I don't think his response was that weird. It would probably throw me off if someone asked if english were my first language out of the blue. In fact, if I were kwami, I might go as far as to give YOU a wolf tell for the weirdness of the question. Now that we understand why you did it, it makes sense.

As far as the content of the post goes thats open to more interpretation, I think. Right now I'm not leaning either way on kwami. Don't think anything he's done so far is telling.
im half english, half greek... but english is my first language too. idk, maybe im looking too much into it but i do still believe that it was an odd word choice.

in essence, his first post was villagery, but his response to my question was wolfy (but i hadnt given it any thought at the time of me making my read on him... i was just interested in reading his answer to his mother-tongue language).

he can get downgraded to neutral though for the defensive reply.

I don't really have any reads as of yet

I will not be voting bsball today, and that is because I'm pretty sure he'll be finding wolves whether he's wolf or villa

I have never seen shroop used successfully to catch a wolf.

If your wolf game is any good, your villager game can't be "quite obvious", at least not to the general public.
