Just gave up Matt Ryan for Kevin Smith from SarcasticRat. Wanted to pick Smith in that spot anyways but felt he'd fall a little more and Ryan/Rodgers who I wanted as my QB if I picked one around that round would fall sooner.
Smith didn't last nearly as long as I expected heh, thankfully I still was able to get my hands on him now in what we concider a win/win trade.

It's hard to deal a young player of Kevin Smith's caliber, but in Matthew "Matty Ice" Ryan I think I've found a potential franchise cornerstone who will hopefully become the next Peyton Manning etc.

I think me moving up to make the pick I made may be a little controversial especially since I gave in and accepted a deal that was worse than what I initially offered (I initially offered to swap 6th,7th and 10th with FCBL) but aparently OTI also wanted Rice and was in the trade discussions so I feel like I moved at the right time.

It was pretty hard to evaluate how people ranked him but I think I got very, very good value from the pick. I'm sure some people will completely disagree (FCBL's initial reaction was pretty much: you moved up for that??) but I think he's in a pretty good situation with the Ravens who did update their line and he's young and a great pass catcher (and the RB situation changed rather favourably for him this year)
