Players dropped aren't available until the following week? That can't be right can it? Why wouldn't you be able to pick up a guy today that was dropped on Wednesday?

Anyone dropped has to go through waivers once. So if dropped on a Wednesday are eligible in next waiver period. Not first come first serve until after once through.

Prevents any advantage to being at computer at a certain time. Allows bad teams first shot at any dropped player.

Gg chim. Damn, watching these guys the last couple of days one at a time delayed had me pretty sure it was a big loss, those few huge games made a crazy splash. Was so unhappy when i saw Gates predictably go off, and damn i left i lot of points on the table . Also probably FF in a nutshell that the best strategy in the title game would have been "start all your Jaguars". This also makes it like 5? times that a wild card wins..

When can we start proposing motions for next year? I particularly think the tiebreaks need to be re-done to straight points.

Also agree that Systolic needs to do right by Pogball1 to continue.

We can vote now. Last time we had interest in points for all but h2h two way ties but it fizzled.

I want all the rules in both POGball league to be the same so we can take all the good rules from both and get rid of the dumb ones.

For instance a 42yd FG should score 4.2pts and a 28yd FG should score 2.8pts and so on.

However I think the league would be infinitely better without kickers or defences and just add a w/r/t flex instead.

Also, ideally, we'd use a different site for both leagues as this one sucks and they charge waaaaay too much money although I don't know of any better alternatives.

As far as the site, the cost is too high for sure, but the functionality is awesome. I'd be open to not losing a huge vig each year, just not sure of a good answer that manages future draft pick trades and what not so well.

I would be in favor of a site change, this one certainly charges a fortune and it's not terribly user friendly, but I don't know of an alternative either.

I kind of like kickers and defenses, they add a certain amount of randomness which I believe is enjoyable - the better teams will win for the large part, but there is some element of a good D/K week overwhelming. It always bugs me a bit that we don't penalize for missed FG/XP - you get punished for INTs or fumbles, which is basically the worst thing a player can do, so why do kickers get a free pass when they fail at literally their only job?

I detest the site and everything about how it works and would gladly switch but I don't have enough interest to find an alternative. I'm used to it enough now that I just accept we use it for some reason.

In regards to the change proposals, i am in favor of making points the tiebreaker in all instances except 2 person head to head.

I don't really care too much about the kickers, i don't mind having them but if they were to be removed thats fine too if the people with the Justin Tuckers of the world is too. They're kind of random and volatile, but in the big picture i don't think it matters all that much.

I am vehemently against removing defenses though. While their scoring is also very volatile, they're definitely not random, and they are part of building a good team. Also obviously, as someone who has 3 of the top defenses it would feel extremely unfair if they were just removed. Some players(including me) has used a not insignificantly amount of resources acquiring and holding on to these. To use an extreme example, prioritizing being strong on defense makes room for fewer fliers on other players, and as Klunch referred to earlier on this page, not doing that may have resulted in acquiring a Tyreek Hill, so there are opportunity costs related to that strategy, can't just throw that away because some people don't like defenses.

In terms of the site, i like it and wouldn't mind staying. If someone knows a better, cheaper alternative that would be fine also, i am not aware of one though.
