Also - I have had the toughest schedule this season by a mile, if you look at the stats. I also have the highest points allowed in the league. I've had a pretty average outing in terms of scoring myself and thats playing with 50% backups or players affected by Peyton's injury.

Not to mention that Mathews is starting to break out.

I sure hope not, holding your first round pick

Also - Kubiak has stated that Foster will get 25 carries again as soon as he is healthy.

So yeah, nice job trying to buy low on Foster everyone. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a league to dominate (again).

Its funny you say this. I was 2nd in points allowed last year yet 7th (middle of the league) in points scored and was 1-11. You mock my team and say it bad because I went 1-11 and lucky went I start the season 3-0.

Yet, when the reverse happens (you do well last season then bad this year), you are unlucky but actually have a good team and make the case that it is because people score a lot of points against you.

It's actually pretty awesome how strong my fantasy defense is. I've allowed the fewest points by a large margin.

You are also 3-0 with fewer points scored than the rest of the division - three teams that are a combined 2-7. It's quite impressive.

I've been meaning to do this, and frankly, I know its a childish gay thing to do, but because of all the flack I got for this trade last year, I am treating myself to a big large dessert of "I told you so."

Also who doesn't like to prove clown wrong?

Understatement?

Figured I should point out the people that were very right, as well.

welker better talent, but not quite his old self yet (and may never be), is creeping up on 30 himself, and will now be getting randy moss' double teams.

ultimately boils down to the fact that only one person got an elite player in this trade, and given QB longevity and scarcity compared to RB/WR you just can't trade away a Brees without getting an elite RB or WR in return imo
Lol?

I'm merely arguing that McFadden and Jones are at worst pretty close in value and well Brees roflstomps Palmer who may have one or two seasons left before fading into obscurity. Welker is obviously more valuable than Henderson but that and the fact that McFadden may or may not be better than Jones
Sorry. It just makes me feel good to post all of that. Anyone want to trade felix jones for DMC?!

McFadden:

"On December 6, 2007, McFadden was announced as the winner of the Walter Camp Award and as the winner of the Doak Walker Award.[27][28] He became only the second person (along with Ricky Williams) in history to win the Doak Walker Award twice. McFadden finished as the runner-up for the 2007 Heisman Trophy for the second year in a row. He was runner-up to Tim Tebow of the Florida Gators by a margin of 1,957 points to 1,703 points,[29] making him the first person since 1949 to finish second in Heisman voting in consecutive years. Again, McFadden was the winner of the Jim Brown Trophy, given to the nation's top running back.[30] Additionally, he was for the second consecutive season a consensus All-America selection.[31]

McFadden ended his college career as the most decorated player in school history, and holds virtually all of the university's rushing records, and is also in a number of the SEC's all-time top 10 rushing spots. His career total of 4,590 yards ranks second all-time in career rushing yards in the SEC, behind only Herschel Walker of Georgia with 5,259. McFadden finished his career in seventh place for the Southeastern Conference career rushing touchdowns record with 41."

Jones:

"While serving primarily as the back-up for All-American and two time Doak Walker Award winner Darren McFadden, Jones was used in a variety of ways alongside McFadden and fullback Peyton Hillis in the Arkansas backfield. In the Wildhog formation, Jones was used as a runner, receiver, blocker, or simply a decoy. Jones gained fame for his ability in returning kickoffs, returning four for touchdowns during his college career

The 2007 Razorbacks finished 8-4 before losing to Missouri in the January 1, 2008 Cotton Bowl Classic. Jones was named to the 2007 1st Team SEC squad as a kick returner, and 2nd team SEC as a running back. He was also named an All-American kick returner."

"At training camp, McFadden impressed Raiders coach Lane Kiffin with his ability to take instructions once and seamlessly incorporate them into his game. Media observers considered him the most complete Raiders rookie at this stage since Marcus Allen.[9] McFadden scored his first professional touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs on September 14, 2008, his second NFL game, in which he gained 164 yards on 21 carries.[37] McFadden also suffered an injury to his big toe in this game, which limited him for the next 14 games, including three missed games."

"McFadden started the 2010 season as a better player than he was in his first 2 seasons. Against the Tennessee Titans on Spetember 12, McFadden rushed for 95 yards on 18 carries. In Week 2, McFadden rushed for 145 yards on 30 carries against the St. Louis Rams. McFadden would rushed for 105 yards with a rushing touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3. McFadden missed the two games with a hamstring injury he suffered Oct. 3 against the Houston Texans. "

This was McFadden's NFL career up to the point he was traded to me.

I don't think anyone thought DMC<Felix out of college. But last year according to Fantasyfootballcalculator.com, Felix ADP was 6.05, and DMC was 10.01. It isn't out of line to say a year ago Felix was a better prospect than DMC. Hell in my league with personal friends I drafted DMC last year, so was happy to see him pwn.

So from what I can tell, ibavly gave up a guy who will probably never see more than 10 carries in a game ever again for a starting QB and moved up two rounds in next years draft?
