And, yes, lynch is descriptive, because werewolf is mob "justice" where the innocent and guilty alike are eliminated by the often irrational throng, overpowered, and "killed." But if it is making people uncomfortable to see it formalized in the writeups, it seems like an easy change to make.

Personally, I really dislike it when accusations of "virtue signalling" get flung around. It is shorthand for "I don't have any reasonable arguments against this but I just don't want to change so I'm going to call you a poser and start making ad hominem attacks."

Within REASON, KM and I don't care what anyone posts in the thread. I am not the PC police and I don't want to be. Use "lynch." Use "assasinate." Use "destroy" "smash" "crush" "smite" or "pillory." Tell people "you're fired!" or "you are the weakest link, goodbye!" But we discussed it earlier today and the role reveals are going try to avoid using the term "lynch." I freely admit that I may screw up a few times because old habits die hard. I hope everyone will be patient with me. In my experience though most black people don't care too much about issues of word choice/semantics and the sorts of ridiculous discussion that this is. At the end of the day, some person gets eliminated from the game and what we want to call it doesn't matter. As Dmk said: context matters and it seems ridiculous to think that someone would be inclined to play werewolf and decide against it based on the terminology. Maybe that's just me though.
As far as virtue signalling and accusations of it go-- well we've had 15 years to have this discussion. And while I don't doubt that your intentions are pure, I can't say that about everyone. Some people really do just want to feel better about themselves.
As far as write ups go though: we should just say that everyone died of natural causes. Or we can say they wandered off into the snow. There isn't going to be a replacement for terms like mislynch and lynchable though . But I also still call a gas station Texaco in my hometown that hasn't been Texaco since we started playing this game. So that's just me. What gets me though is being told that I'm a bad person from douchy white people.

Could run top tier toms poisoner setup, seems like a good way to speed up the kills but still allow people to post (valuable in this reunion style game), it isn't crazy swingy and has lots of opportunities for players to play well.

Fair enough. Somehow it's the case that all the people I like most are the ENFP (if I'm going to take a stab at your personality type) bleeding heart types-- which works out fine as far as rescuing kittens go but not so well in discussions like this. But yeah-- not ready to be a wolf again for a minute.
