"in my time" - lol. Your time is now!

I can review the roleset, no problem

Please do send me or request in thread suggestions for flavor/theme. I want to do something acknowledging this is a reunion game, without ripping off StuckInARutt's fantastic flavor for the 06 game that ended this last week.

Maybe something around time travel? Anyway, I am honored that Thingy has entrusted me with this.
Something cool might be to do do a combination of themes that were used in the '07-'09 years. Like use characters from a variety of themes.

Ghostbusters, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lost, Jurassic Park, Street Fighter, and all those other popular games that were ran back then :P

Too late to suggest my "Villagers who are so 2008 vs Wolves who are so 2000 and late" theme I see.

Thank you for running the game VR!

I'll be intending to not use the word "lynch" during this game. Although, I'm sure I slipped a time or two in the game that just completed.

It is hard to avoid because it is baked into our brains, just like the terms mustlynch, mislynch and unlynchable

I was thinking about this. Part of it is terms like murder/off/brutally-dismember-limb-by-limb-with-a-dull-hacksaw aren't similar enough to "roll of the tongue" easily.

Closest I could come up with is "liquidate" but I'm not sure I love it (a little too long?).

"snuff" also stands out in a way that makes me think I'd remember it, but that might be me.

Kill. Eliminate. Vote off. Agree doesn’t flow as well. Still right thing to do.

Not really though. It makes us look stupid. Like we didn't realize 15 years ago that lynch has a negative connotation? Pretty sure we all did. So why change now?
The last thing I'd want to be associated with is a bunch of virtue signalers so as the only minority here (I'm pretty sure) I'll be continuing to use lynch.
Could make for a good theme. Political correctness gone mad comes to pog and the only minority (the seer) can tell who is who.
Come to think of it seer is a bit abelist so perhaps that needs work too.

Dustin,

I'd respond more, but I don't know how to tell you that it's right to care about other people.

Sanctimonious douchebags gone wild could be a good theme.

Literally no one thought you would change your behaviors to respect and care about others. Literally no one.

As long as you guys are able to feel good about yourselves for changing the pronunciation of a word.

Eh, you're not the only one. I'm half with you. I have a highly nuanced position on this, posting it makes it a problem as I would have to write 1,000+ words and this would become full on politics, and you're the only one that might appreciate my point of view anyway, perhaps I'll just PM you.

I'm not sure how much I use "lynch" in ww games. Definitely I'll say 'mislynch', but I'm certain I'm a lot more likely to say 'XYZ is a wolf and should die" or "we should go/do XYZ tonight" than anything involving lynching. And people should say what they want.
But attitudes like "this is the right thing to do" and "if you don't do it you don't care about people" is where the sanctimoniousness becomes a little too much for me to bear.
