"Garden bench" rings somewhat of a bell, but I'm not really sure.

It's in your garden rather than a park or on the street.

I'm happy to go with yours if you still prefer it, but perhaps have bench as a backup in that case.

Hose is 100% imo

I can see weak arguments against both other ones.

Bonsai are usually in pots inside rather than in the garden.

A garden is quite different to a farm.

I suppose we have to think if there are better words for certain groups of 3.

Hose was my fight to the death word.

Farm I will fight for. A garden isn't really that different than a farm. It's basically small-scale farming.

Bonsai is the weakest.

Hose/Farm/Bonsai
Hose/Farm/Bench

Could "gardening" hit the first one but not the second?

That said, I completely skipped over bench and I can't be sure IBD didn't also.

I say we go with hose/farm/Bonsai with bench as a backup.

Garden hose is a thing and gardening hose isn't.

Also if bench was ours then would you be greedy and try to combine it with the tablecloth clue? Lots of little things are making bench last for me.

Nice job, guys! I was indeed worried about bench, but didn’t have anything better to clue. Nich left tap on the board purposely so I couldn’t clue something like irrigation. I’d thought of gardening as well, but was worried that’d come across as me trying to avoid farm or something. Good catch that bench would’ve been lumped in with the tablecloth clue had it been ours. You guys made this easy for me.

You got my Tolkien words but had Germany in the way

The most direct clue I coulda done was Berlin - 0 but that would have clued away from cities and Tokyo was ours

Usually Europe - 0 would mean look for Asia or other continent’s words so was hoping for a Tokyo guess there

Don’t think it mattered this game anyway tho

Paper was perhaps the weakest for me. Id put thumb in the mix instead personally. I think we've likely got a few body parts for eb to be so bold with an 8.
