One bit of fun, that I hadn't expected as spymaster, is the internal tension and mental screaming while players discussed their guesses. "Yes! Yes! No! No! Aargh!" It really wound me up.

I think, for me, that coming up with the clues is 1a, guessing the words is 1b, and following the discussions is 2. I always find myself wanting to 'help' the other tream when I think they are missing something. As I'm sure many players out there feel, actually 'winning' or 'losing' means nothing to me.

Dressing - you wear threads
Chains - possibly.. follow the thread, follow the chain
Silk - Silk threads
Line - Line of thread
Cable - similar to a thread

Out of those, I'm leaning more to silk and... dressing I guess?

Oh I forgot to mention, I messaged Xander before giving soup the second time to check if it’s within the rules. Didn’t ask whether or not it is a smart tactic. Wanted to be fully transparent.

He actually said he believes so and it would make for an interesting post game discussion about whether it is a good strategic move. For me when i realized i made a mistake and had an easier lay up two than my original though of thanksgiving. Would be interested to know if, given any you made the mistake I did, and you had my word groupings, would you have done similar/ what’s the optimal play.

I really like chain, as in a thread, I.e this, is a chain of comments.

Dressings may have been a stretch but when I saw the clue I instantly thought clothing both in fabric and what the kids these days use to describe their new clothes. Once I looked at the words with that already in mind I was convinced on dressings haha
