Was pretty confident in that one so just fired away but normally I'll wait for input

varies wildly from day to day so feel free to just go for it if you're confident. But I'm not usually away for too long either, so don't feel like you're ever holding the game up if you're waiting for me.

you can point with a finger.. Not sure hand is a strong connection, though

string is just straight...not pointed..

I think carrot is safe... same shape as a spike actually.

An ice pick is very pointed. Dishes are pointed at satellites. The arrow of time points in one direction.

Edit: an icicle is pointed.

I'm caught between hand and ice. Hand makes the most sense with point. Poined leans me toward ice.

Yeah, but I don't feel good about extrapolating or looking at extended meanings this early in the game. I doubt spurs wants us to think ice to ice pick to pointed. And, while an icicle is pointed, generally, ice itself is not pointed. But, icicle fits with carrot and spike really well.

Dishes are pointed at satellites, but satellites are not pointed at anything really..

hmm.. sometimes the words with 3 and 4 clues have more things in common with each other than they do with the clue. Carrots and spikes have a physical and tapered point. The only other thing that does fit is ice if it is for icicle.

Sorry if I am wrong by going to go with ice and if I missed we can look at hand or light later.
