Night - Pretty sure they're diurnal.

I don't love it, but I don't really even see stretchy connections to the others...

cookroom 3 for kitchen, chair and sink. Pepper is neutral. China is theirs but cookroom does not connote fancy dishware imo.

Bentley 3 for car, engine and grace. I really didn't see other alternatives for 3rd word except grace. Was thinking about a regal, classy, elegant car but clearly missed the mark. I don't think this was a great idea on my part, as it was not on your radar.. Sorry

Luke knows you like paddle as +1, so I can't give a 2 clue. My only chance is giving a 3 clue .If we miss maybe luke and IRTM can't hit flute and paddle.. Fire might be a blocker for wood 2. Eagle 3 for grace, pig (animal) and skyscaper (high, towering, etc).. I just don't want flute, paddle, or fire hit.

Grace is a perfectly reasonable 3rd word for Bentley. I guess I don't really think of cars as graceful, but I should. Grace is a hard word in general. G'work.

Sorry IRTM, I should’ve risked handheld - 3 with my last clue but didn’t think the China (eg teacup) connection was clear and didn’t see how they could get their 3, but as soon as I just read the clue I realised AK had nailed it.

Had an easy handheld-2 left to get paddle and flute.

Maybe should’ve started with Potter but was worried about car so wanted to give AK one turn to maybe clear it, but he didn’t and I had to do it second. Then may have found another way to get there in 3 turns
