Once we get some of these games under our belt, I am hopeful we will have a bit of a player base to run some more 2/2 turbos. To me that is best format. 4 people (2 on a team), committing to 90 mins or so of high speed codename... When we did this a year or two ago the turbos were awesome...

Not saying the slow games should stop, but it would be great to have both slow and fast.

Also, our game 2 is actually a glacier game....very hard to get or keep any momentum, and tough for spymasters as you feel an obligation to keep a close eye on the thread even though nothing is happening (at least I felt I needed to). I am willing to acknowledge that this might just be my impression that things are too slow.

One more needed for the duplicate slow game!

What will be the format? How about 3 games, one vs every team and everyone gets to be spy master once?

Will we do any scoring? How about scoring 3-0 if you win a game where the other thread loses the game with the same color and scoring 2-1 if in both threads the same color wins?

Format seems good for a trial run. Could expand on it in the future if people are into it.

Scoring seems fine. You could also scramble the teams each time and make it more of an individual contest.

Am fine with either format, but I'd prefer to play with same team for the first iteration. Learn how people think / give clues.

Sorry if I'm slow but I I just want to make sure I follow here:

- Were going to have 4 teams of 3. 3 games per team.
- Each person is the code master for 1 game.
- We'll need 3 different lists, and we'll need someone from outside the 12 to rand them and send them to the code masters. But the 3 lists won't change.

So team A plays team B with list 1, then plays team C (or D, whatever) with list 2, then plays other team with other list?

I think you've got it right. Should look like this:

Round 1 (List 1)
A vs B
C vs D

Round 2 (List 2)
A vs C
B vs D

Round 3 (List 3)
A vs D
B vs C

Each team member is code master for 1 round

The above plan looks great to me.

Regardless, we'll need 3 games randed. I would think once a team is done with 1 board, they can ask another team for a different board. Just you know, don't leave Agent off the list...
