Ties:

Two way tie: Team that beat the other in the series gets the higher slot.

Three-way tie: Settled by head to head record if possible, otherwise I don't know. Rand it I guess.

Also open to some other type of game 6 configuration. Not sure what would be best. The idea was to keep top teams more in control of their own destiny instead of relying on the #1 team to be beaten by someone else.

For what it's worth when I proposed this format, I also suggested this tiebreaking rule in the last series. In theory, we were playing under those tiebreaking rules. Maybe we say we are still playing under those rules as a way to just end this discussion?

I'm not sure that it is better than more wins, but there was something in place for the last series.

Head to head will prevail. Ruling is final. Esp since it's all just for bragging rights anyway. Next tourney we can revisit the rules.

And if were worried about people not wanting to in becasue they can't find a team mate, we've got two options there. People can just post ITT they are looking for a teammate, or people with no teammate can PM me and I'll just pair them off.
