Then it's a matter of Arm, France or Racket (imo). Arm could be one of their tongs words, & I think nails clues something different if he's only trying to get us away from oil? I would also argue that if he was only trying to get us away from oil, he's better off giving us a usable clue & just taking the hit if oil is an assassin & we guess it. I think he ought to be trying to get us away from 2 words there.

I like racket a bit better than France due to the potential cricket crossover, & I think flintlock weapons are probably really loud due to the firing mechanism & that might be what led him to choose that over a musket or something? I'm sure muskets are super loud too, though.

Pistol + Revolution + Torch gives more of an angry mob type vibe to me. I wish I knew more about the firing mechanism to know if it like lights up or there's a burst of fire or something. It's possible.

I don't think France could be a red crossover. There's no way if he's making a flag connection he'd expect us to go France before Canada.
