Re: Codenames duet - Eric and Carl

Egg should be good. Hawk and Crane are both birds, buy Hawk is "more birdy."

I think Hawk and Crane are never both green, especially given what I was saying last round. No clue at all on another bathroom word.

egg
hawk
pass

crane?

Poor Tottenham gets no love.

I'll go with spurs.

Re: Codenames duet - Eric and Carl

Agree on Spurs.

I thought this all three rands of my lists this game were very hard. Wagon was a tough blocker.

I just could not make lemon or spurs fit. I was vaguely hoping they would be an early-revealed overlap. But it worked out.

I like this variant. Having to clue and guess in the same game is fun.

Nich wanted to play. Would you want to try with 4 if we get one more? I'm also happy to play another round like this, or we could try one of the other "locations" which have all have different win conditions.

I'm willing to play with 4, though I have doubts about how well that will work. Of course, that's what playtesting is for. I'm also willing to try other win conditions. Or continuing as we are.

Of course, Nick has some unfinished business in Grab Bag Walrus #1.

Yeah, exactly that. It would be worth trying for one game imo. Let's give it a day or so to see if anyone else wants in the 4.

The wincons are variations on turn number and how many neutrals you can hit.

The three hardest seem to be

7 turns with only 2 neutrals (7/2)
6 turns with 4 neutrals (6/4)
8 turns with zero neutrals (8/0)

But we barely got this one, so maybe a medium one next

According to the official rules, we can travel to 8/8 or 11/2 from here.
