Way to go team!!! Fantastic guessing!!! I thought the Trail of Tears was kind of a stretch but you logic'd it out great and figured out why it was capitalized and plural.

Lots of blockers on both sides - I wanted to clue Aladdin for like 10 but they had magician/trick/pyramid and Nich did a nice job keeping it tricky. After illusion was clued red had some rough lists with slip and thief on some so I went for Blogs(Onion, post, story) - pen was theirs so I wanted to keep it cyber and not clue something like news that would hit it. Scroll and other candidate words were neutral so figured not much bad can happen and good chance they hit one of ours. Instead they masterfully go 4/4 and clean everything up - none of our words on reds' radar anymore and I figured we had 3 turns at this point to get 9 so....

GERONIMOOOOO! Didn't hit anything super hard but there was essentially no connection to any bad words(sled was assassin but everything else that could remotely connect was ours or neutral) - one thing I love about this game and find kinda funny is that clues like "Geronimo" can get Aztec or in a previous game I clued Kremlin to get Czech. We got 3 but now had several neutrals to filter through and red wasn't helping us any. After the Hawking clue they needed 5 while we needed 6 - onion, roll, slip, thief, road, and rip.

No one was really on onion so I planned to reclue it with crying of some kind and tears seemed solid - it would hit rip and road was a bit of a stretch but there was no easy way to link everything. I thought about clueing it first but hitting neutral scroll wouldn't really be bad and more words off the board could make hitting road easier with Geronimo + Tears equity. So went with evade - plan was to get slip/roll/thief and then clean up the last 3 with Tears - could change the number depending on how the list shaped up or perhaps red would gift us one. Red obviously didn't help but the last turn was already planned out so followed through and just hoped - I felt slip, onion, and rip were hit pretty hard but still tough to wade through everything to end....and then insanity came in with the Trail of Tears post...it was beautiful.

GG all - Nich made it tough to group many by being patient with his blockers early and other than mint on the first turn - neither team guessed any of the others' words or assassins. Great guessing all around.

he is known for writing (penning) THE book on time so I was hopeful and we would have gotten it next turn if they hadn't won so fast, so we were almost there

wheelchair is a tough word to pair with others
