Buffalo - buffalo chicken spices
Bugle - is the snack food spiced?
Degree - spicy hot?
Olive - can be spiced
Orange - orange spice tea?

I think our make-up order was ring/current and chick..

as for spice words, it is lower case so not Spice girls, but if one of the words was related it could be fan/chick/concert

Buffalo - makes sense
Degree/Olive and Orange all possible but don't seem strong to me
Pumpkin- seems ok
Aztec - to Mexico to spice??
paste - ? depends on what paste..

Pumpkin is a lock...you can get pumpkin spice-flavoured everything these days. Buffalo almost certainly good too, and should be another Jodie word. I like paste 3rd for curry paste.

Chick also works for chicken, but we were saying that anyway. Still could be an overlap tho. Everything else seems very weak, but olive seems next best to me.

I think Ring (for buzz) is an absolute lock. I'm fine if it isn't first, but it should be top 3.

Haven't heard of a spice press -- coffee and garlic, yes.

Aztec seems like it requires an extra step to get there (Aztec ---> Mexico ---> Spice), so not crazy about it, but not opposed, either.

I guess I stand by my list, but OK with Olive and/or Aztec if you both like them.

Am wondering why you have changed the ring/current/chick order. You have bumped chick up and dropped current down. Chick may have Pomeranian equity, so am not sure why it is now ahead of current.

I'm not sure I'd call ring an absolute lock, but I'm still fine putting it top 3.

AK's list looks pretty good to me, and I'd put paste and olive after current probably. Degree seems like the biggest stretch on that list to me.

Still not a fan of press for buzz tho.

I don't know -- I guess it's what struck me in the moment when I was looking at it again. I personally don't think chick has any Pomeranian equity, and it's pretty far down their list. But I'm cool with current over chick; I really don't feel strongly about it.

I lean a little more toward Orange as the third spice word, as it's a spice in both tea and beer. No preference between Olive and Paste.

I drink Orange Pekoe Tea if that helps.. If nails says it is a spice that is good enough for me.
