Thx for understanding I don’t mind messing up my own games but feel bad when being careless in a team game

i was just gonna go punched - 3 i guess... unless i thought of something else

play/boom/code were the remaining punch words on our list and the 3 would have eliminated play, then maybe the code/paper combo with punch cards would have been good enough




but yeah, i really REALLY didn't want to be in that position. i thought it was a pretty big mistake not following thru with another guess on our last turn. it's just infinitely easier needing 2 than 3 at endgame

but the most important thing was that i bypassed a regular numbered clue the previous turn and used an unlimited to purposefully knock a neutral out of the way. that was really the only possible reason to use an unlimited there. if a blue or assassin word was behind the neutral, i wouldn't have used an unlimited. i'm only doing it since i need to use those two turns to get to the red part of the list

i heavily considered using another unlimited clue with eye tho so there was no ambiguity

maybe i should have

but knowing the # is pretty important

Was Ivory Coast colonized by the French? That doesn't necessarily make connecting those last three any easier, but might have been a path to go down.

yea i wanted to guess play but I guess I can see it either way and it just happened to be the situation where it is most valuable to guess it (neutral with 2 good behind).

I thought of that..lol Yes, it was a French colony. I was looking at other African connections as well to link France with ivory (elephants/illegal trade of ivory...)

Coast itself would snag England before all of Ivory/France/Bank, though

I thought of Abidjan 3 (largest city), but then bank again might be tough to get

My thinking is basically the same as AE.

On the critter side, the rodents mouse and rat seem like locks

On the human side, thief and snake (plus snake is a critter of sorts)

slug seems disgusting enough..

I guess my preference would be

with maybe hole and scarecrow as distant make-ups..

Buffalo seems a bit on the large side...

virus I think works pretty well too, snake I'm least sure about because we're getting really close to just clueing an animal(something like bat) or could try to get other words with something like 'tail'

was thinking snake because vermin for people means like a slimeball, or lowlife, or scumbag, and both snake and thief seem to fit that.

I am assuming nails must want to hit some humans or else he could have stuck with just an animal term..

I wanna disagree just to hear some more insults like pondscum or turdball
