sorry about that first clue, i think that just got us off to a bad start. i just never thought a blue would be said, but it had us guessing neutrals galore

obv knew stream would be guessed for showering and figure for trump, but didn't know what to do about it. i thought he could make a ton of connections with stream anyway. plus he had drawing left, which paired with figure and not much else

was pretty shocked comic was ~never brought up for job since it's literally a job, but glad we got there in the end

I was only thinking of comic as a comic book, and not as a comedian for some reason. Once Ervin brought it up, it made a lot of sense.

Insanity, can you post what words were intended for what clues? I wanna see how much spursing we did.

Not much to say to my team.
You went basically perfect here, with the only miss coming late, and it was a neutral. And you got it the next round anyway.

Burning was fuel obv, and there's a terrible movie out there from a few years ago called Burning Kiss. Best I had. I basically just got out spy mastered.

i'm sure i've forgotten my exact thought process, but will try

sausages 4 - polish/bacon/craft. next favorite was nut for the food connection, but could see a couple stretches available

showering 5 - soap/sweat/jail. and nut/nail as body parts

job 5 - i was considering a lot of different wordings here but wanted to definitely get nut. then the 3 jobs scientist/spy/comic. and dollar. i forget if i had mentally crossed off craft already since it was the only sausage word left or if i just didn't want to give a 6. everything was pretty confusing at this point so i don't think it mattered a bunch

trump 7 - just lots of tenuous connections after the obvious. wall/dollar/whistle/beijing/jail/comic and then maybe scientist/spy. i forget what all was on the board at that point tbh. 7 seemed about right. considered unlimited, but not all words were clued so felt a high number would be fine
