Something I was thinking for the championship round:

Play 4 games, each team member spying twice. If, after 4 games, exactly one team has two or more wins, they are declared the winner. If two teams have 2 wins, they play a one game standard codenames tiebreaker

Seems like the most often case will be that 1 team has 2+ wins. Only when one team sucks ass should that not be the case, ya?

I'd prefer best of 5 with a playoff round unless 1 team has 3 wins, in which case they are the champs. Or best of 6 if you want each team to have 2x each color. With again, 3 wins to seal unless its 3:3 in which caee theres a playoff.

One tourney rule I wanted to establish unambiguously: You must always play to win. It's not too hard to imagine a scenario where you might think your overall equity is better served by giving a win to one of your opponents over another. Don't do that, please.
