Yeah they got in 3 and my staff helped them but they still get there in 3 which is tough

I think I woulda gone with a baseball reference for 6 with our list to get jack, stick, force, America, ball, part

Captain was America, Jack, Force (like a captain in the Air Force, Armed Forces etc)
wheelhead / lightsaber you got correct. Had to clue Force twice since you didn't pick it up for Captain.

Wheelhead is probably not a legal clue but irtm gave me a pass there. It is a legit thing (it's a part of a roulette wheel) but not in the dictionary so idk. Couldn't think of anything else.

Having Bug with Spider being purple and Nurse being blue was really difficult. If we had one more turn we should have been able to get there though.

I didn't clue wheelhead thinking it was an illegal clue fwiw* I forgot that the dictionary thing was the official rule I just looked up parts of a Roulette wheel and figured that would work.

I never thought you would do it on purpose. Most of the mistakes are not on purpose. Like me picking the assassin...lol

But, I actually thought you might have meant wellhead. I never heard of wheelhead but knew it hit roulette, and ball and part pretty good. If it was illegal the time to sort it out is before Nich picks, that is for sure.

I just looked it up and it is not in the merriam-webster online dictionary. So, IRTM was indeed giving you a pass on it..

lightsaber is a "proper" name of a thing from starwars stuff, so that would be ok.. That would be my thinking.

here are all the rules

it is a sticky at the very top of the POG 1st page.. We did this because some people were saying acronyms were fine, and others thought no. Some thought hyphenated was fine, and other didn't.

So, we made a sticky to make sure there would be no debates..

Yeah I’ve read the rules just forgot that there could be “real” words that are still illegal bc of the dictionary rule so I didn’t check the dictionary when I found the word. My bad

I am not sure what I would have done about it if I was spymaster. You don't want to punish honest mistakes.

My thinking would be that if there was another word that could get all the three you wanted, I would have said no big deal. That is, you picked wheelhead but could have got a, b and c with [redacted].

If I didn't think there was another word I probably would have made you take the penalty.. I think..lol
