1 pucker
2 taper
6 sultry, 2 of which have overlap
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amazon - Amazonian women are sometimes portrayed in sultry ways I guess
Blacksmith - Could forge something tapered
Concert - no
Contract - no
Fever - maybe some sultry equity? things getting hot, reaching a fever pitch, etc
Ghost - no
Model - pucker + sultry
Mount - no
Musketeer - tapered bayonet a possibility
Night - seems likely for sultry
Peanut - no
Princess - leaning model for pucker, but some sultry equity. Though I think Carl goes pucker 3 if we have both princess and model
Quarter - no
Rail - some tapered equity + sultry (rail = pole)
Tattoo - no?
Tornado - taper equity
I saw right away "hot" (in my mind) could potentially work for 5 or 6 words, if not for their degree blocker. Decided to hope they would get it out of the way somehow.
Pucker 2 - was just a bad clue, sorry. Somehow completely forgot about the kissing angle. In a vacuum, it wasn't too disastrous, but it set us down the wrong path. Was going for lemon and contract (as in to shrink)
Taper - 3 Trying to link needle + tornado and contract (again in the shrink sense, tapering gets smaller on one end) I knew it was weak. Didn't think about degree at all, but it was reasonable. At least it got degree off the board....
Turn three and the situation was pretty hopeless. I still had the "hot" thing in my pocket, but saying "hot unlimited" had no chance of working, becasue you were never saying contract. I was one word short.
I thought "sultry" worked almost as well, trying to use it both in the "very hot and humid" and "sexy" sense of the word.
Model, princess (sexy) Amazon (Jungle, hot + humid) Blacksmith (forge is hot as ****) Fever (hot) and Tornado (develop in hot and humid places)
Then I just had to hope you realized there was a non-sultry taper word. Basically, we were drawing rather thin.
