Spymaster notes

Went Lambert 4 for Jam, Play, Lead (as in lead singer), and Mercury (Adam Lambert replaced Freddie Mercury as lead signer of Queen). I wanted to try something like Broadway X to get play, New York and lead, but “watch” is the assassin.

InDheart, Lambert 4 was not a good play on my part in a 2v2 game. It really needed to be a 4v4 or 5v5 game to ensure someone got it. If you knew it though, it would have been an easy 4.

Went Dense 4 to get the 3 densest items on the board: lead, mercury and pipe and the 4th (for population density) New York. Had a reason for not going densest. I never thought items that were not dense (like air and gas) would be considered.

Went metal 3 and inDheart got exactly what I was looking for: lead, mercury and pipe.

Had New York, Octopus, spine and press left.. No real unlimited opportunities.

Went chiropractor 2 for spine and press

Had to hope some sort or water inference by Prip got Octopus picked with pirate.

GG Prip and Carl.. you had a tough board. Well done..

Very interesting game for me. I was having a lot of trouble coming up with clues that applied to more than 2 words. When Lambert didn't land I decided to play it on the conservative side, which I think could have bitten me in the ass. But AK's board was also pretty tough. Didn't see how he was gonna incorporate Octopus easily.

ah, lead. had the right lambert, but i'd only remembered him as a solo artist

yeah, my mistake about dense. air and gas are not very dense things, though i thought people said them as phrases or something. lead being part of dense after all makes sense to me, and i'm glad i got to you pulling me away from air

octopus is a tough one to have left for sure. i think at the very least, i'd not be guessing the assassin, because i thought watch was blue after prip clued foreign

This was clutch guessing, Carl I knew I was taking a risk with Spine but was hoping you'd follow the, "well that would just be Book" logic.
