So let's see i'm 99% sure Flute was the other cylinder word so i'm looking for 2 injection words, one of which is Federer related otherwise you'd have gone injection - 1, Vet is a lock so need 1 more
Bell - Don't think so
Cricket - Cricket + Vet would be insect - 2 I guess, can't see any injection reference
Cycle - Steroids reference? Can't see how it relates to Federer though
Lap - Can't see it
London - Can't see how this fits into injection? Has Federer connections
Pupil - Pupils get injections don't they? Also eye injections. Federer was a tennis pupil at one stage and probably teaching others. But Pupil + Vet would just be intern - 2 or something easier?
Revolution - Can't see it
Slip - Slip is a cricket word not tennis, can't see any injection reference
Turkey - Can't see it, Vet + Turkey would be Bird - 2
Vet - Must be ours
I thought Model would be the 2nd Federer word but obviously not..
Federer is a veteran tennis player. Vet is probably a much more commonly used term for that sort of stuff here than there.
You were sitting on Flute & I had Match, Vet, Cycle & Jam & could flip one for free & couldn't come up with anything that would easily clue toward even 2 of them with those blockers.
Also cylinders was 100% flute when given it but both guessers didn’t see that, which was another weird thing about this game juxtaposed with their other great guessing
Was odd that the “easy, straightforward” clues were less successful than the harder, more nuanced clues
It’s codemines so no way he says cylinders (both words are actual cylinders) is the most cylindrical word on the list, flute, is not yours...in regular codewords it can be neutral but in codemines it must be yours
You're right -- I totally overthought the helicopter thing, as well as JM3's cylinders clue. Was trying to parse the reason for the plural, and got myself in trouble.
