gg, blues. Almost got there.
mammal - 0: after the meat clue, had to go here to make sure
Rabbit was out. Also didn't hurt that it pointed toward
Shark,
Turkey, and
Tick. I was actually surprised you guys only went for one on the first turn, but you mentioned both of the unguessed (and soft-eliminated some non-blue words), so we were good.
director - 0: I was a little worried
Agent would be eliminated with
mammal - 0, so wanted to point to that while also clueing away from
Film,
Spike (Lee),
Undertaker (Funeral Director),
Band (Band Director), and
Doctor. irtm made the connection to three of them immediately:

Turkey and

puppet - 0: I had avoided clueing away from too many red clues up until now, so this was to get off of three red clues
Sock,
Hand, and
Stick. In perfect PC fashion, his first post after this clue was an emphatic

I liked that you guys were leading with
Turkey and
Net as make-ups, and after both teams have clued thrice it makes sense to start opening up to words that have been avoided thus far, which is why I started clueing away from red words - only to get a red word mentioned as a possibility right off the bat. The good news was that PC then got scared off of
Stick due to the
Stones - 0 clue, which I think JM3 is being to hard on himself about. I thought it was a perfectly fine clue, with really the only iffy part being potentially clueing away from
Cliff - which is important for my final clue.
thermometer - 0: Dizzy nailed that this was for
Rabbit,
Glass, and
Doctor. Because neither
Belt nor
Cliff had ever been mentioned by our team as possibilities, while
Agent,
Tick, and
Wall all had, I thought we were in a pretty decent place to win here. PC even made this beautiful post while you were deliberating:

I still also like Agent.
As red had guessed
Trunk in their last turn, we had the benefit of either leaning that way ourselves due to it having not been clued against, or letting JM3 deal with it next turn and red be forced to go three-and-out. Then, out of nowhere,
Cliff becomes a favorite and is actually mentioned as being a word you guys were never not guessing, which kind of blew my mind. I understand it, because it wasn't actively clued against and JM3's
Stones - 0 clue could have confused things for both teams. But, the momentum it picked up was surprising. In the end, we guessed wrong, and JM3 was able to clue a word that I had never heard before which everyone on the red team knew without a doubt and that was that.

For the record, I completely agree with Dizzy here. This was one of my favorite clueing experiences. It's also pretty great to look at the evolution of play from our first game to this last one. gg, all. Great clueing against you, JBud. Pleasure working with you, blue team.
