I have no idea how we didn't win that lol

Poisoned - Apple, Fish, Needle and Spy - added the -ed to be safe to get Apple, Needle was well worked out but was a little surprised no-one knew that Fish have mercury in them which is poisonous, also there's a well known poisonous fish called Fugu which can be eaten. Spy was a bit of a stretch, i'm British so the Salisbury spy poisonings were a big thing over here.

Sculpture - Ice and Rock, got them straightaway nice one, had a feeling you'd say Angel as well but no problem as it was neutral.

Rotorcraft - Just for Helicopter. My thinking was if I did a clue just for one word, you would realise you were on the right track with Fish and Spy, couldn't decide between doing a Helicopter + Spy clue or this, decided this would give us the best chance to win this turn. I didn't expect you to say Nail though, thought it was GG then

Salmon - Just for Fish. I wanted to get a clue in before heading to bed and assumed there was no way you're never saying Fish + Spy so just went with a random fish, didn't even think of salmon coloured pants lol.

Thought for sure there was no way we were losing after the first turn where all 4 poisoned words were mentioned

This would’ve been a better clue, yes. I thought of it for link, but somehow didn’t connect it with anything else.

I knew you guys were never getting away from Field, but that didn’t bother me. I tried clue toward the course/material itself with fairway so we could stay away from generic golf words like pants, jack, and swing.

I always hate when my board has Bermuda. I won’t forget missing again.

We got lucky more than once. I had nfi what to do when left with Bermuda, Carrot, Link, and Nail.

Would’ve gone “pointy - unlimited” rather than vegetable if Nail hadn’t been guessed by blue.

All good. When the list was Field, Bermuda, Link, Swing, I assumed you guys would just pick up that order next turn.

I mentioned that it was a good look for link, but couldn't get out of my own way to do anything constructive with it.

I also thought nail was the next best stomp word in the beginning, but then totally forgot that thought. Not that it ever would have come into play probably.
