given that we never discussed any defense or bidding, we had few misunderstandings, wahoo. i misdefended a few hands and didnt guess right in a 4S hand, and otherwise everything was perfectly fine.
You win the diamond ace and run off 7 rounds of hearts. All of the clubs are to your right, and we'll assume that so is the diamond K. So after the 7th heart is played, we'll have pitched down to:

J3
A7

Righty has saved 5 cards. If he has saved only 3 clubs, we play the ace of clubs and finesse for 13 tricks. So assume he's saved 4. If he's pitched the diamond king, we cash the diamond jack and win 3 clubs (ace, finesse) for 12 tricks.
So he must be down to the diamond king and 4 clubs. So now we play a low diamond to throw him in. We win the club return in dummy with the ace, cash the jack of diamonds and finesse back in clubs for 12 tricks.
True... and also pretty dumb against 6NT, because with that holding either declarer is cashing 12+ tricks (lots of hearts and clubs, plus the ace of diamonds) on any lead but the ace of spades, or the contract is going down unless you do something ridiculous.
Meh. I guess it could make sense if you anticipate being thrown in with the spade ace. But that requires partner not to have the spade queen (he doesn't have the king), nor the diamond queen or a round-suit winner.
