Proposed rules:

- No January movies
-10 teams, 8 picks per team (no January and maybe still a reduced number of movies?)
-$250m cap on each pick (Spider-Man was the only movie to reach (and obliterate) our usual cap, I assume overall box office will still be lower than usual so 325m might give too much advantage to the top picks. Shang-Chi was #2 with 225m which is how I came up with 250m.)
-Snake draft of the ABBABABAB variety
-Most North American box office at the end of January 2023 wins

Note: If your movie gets (1) moved to 2023 or (2) does not get a theatrical release or (3) gets a simultaneous streaming/theatrical release (be wary of Netflix films!) (I think we need to get rid of this one for this year, too many high profile simultaneous streaming releases last year), you may pick a movie that went unpicked, but it must be at least two weeks from release.
For substitutions only: $250m cap if its a 1st round pick, $150m cap for a round 2 pick, $100m cap for round 3 & 4, $75m for round 5 & 6, $70m cap for round 7 & 8, and $50m cap for round 9 & 10. I lowered all of these a bit.

Please comment on proposed rule changes. I tried to highlight my proposed changes in red and my thoughts in Italics.

We can probably up the cap again this year? There were 8 movies that crossed $325m last year.

Yeah I think so. We don't seem to be quite back to pre-pandemic numbers but close enough that it probably makes sense to go back to the old cap.
