Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

On one hand it doesn't have Spielberg. On the other hand it doesn't have Shia LaBeouf thankfully. But on the third hand it is still Harrison Ford playing Indiana Jones.

Yeah Kingdom of the Crystal Skull for all that is was still made 317M 15 years ago.

It's currently set up for 9 rounds, 72 picks. Last year we ended up scrapping the last round in a 9 person draft and had 72 picks. We still ended up with a lot of delayed movies but I think we should see a lot less of that this year.

The Super Mario Bros Movie. I could be way off here, but I thought it was a top 3-4 pick and could be huge.

My 2nd round pick is The Little Mermaid.

I think Dune was drafted too high fwiw, I expect it to make more than the first one but I have a very hard time seeing it get anywhere near the cap, that would be such a gigantic leap from the 108m the first one made.

The other movies are what I had as my rough top 8 after a first look.

I forgot about that and also somehow didn't consider that its performance was also hit by Covid in late 2021. Makes the pick a lot more reasonable.

Yeah that was my second choice. especially when it came out Keaton is apparently coming back as Batman for the film...

so we have officially gone full circle of batman->birdman->batman
