Proposed rules:

- No January movies
-10 teams, 8 picks per team (no January and maybe still a reduced number of movies?)
-$250m cap on each pick (Spider-Man was the only movie to reach (and obliterate) our usual cap, I assume overall box office will still be lower than usual so 325m might give too much advantage to the top picks. Shang-Chi was #2 with 225m which is how I came up with 250m.)
-Snake draft of the ABBABABAB variety
-Most North American box office at the end of January 2023 wins

Note: If your movie gets (1) moved to 2023 or (2) does not get a theatrical release or (3) gets a simultaneous streaming/theatrical release (be wary of Netflix films!) (I think we need to get rid of this one for this year, too many high profile simultaneous streaming releases last year), you may pick a movie that went unpicked, but it must be at least two weeks from release.
For substitutions only: $250m cap if its a 1st round pick, $150m cap for a round 2 pick, $100m cap for round 3 & 4, $75m for round 5 & 6, $70m cap for round 7 & 8, and $50m cap for round 9 & 10. I lowered all of these a bit.

That's 9 if irtm is willing to go for it on his own if we don't get anymore people. I'll give it until tomorrow but if nothing changes we'll just start it with 9 (or 8) and adjust picks accordingly.

yes to time limits, but generally first round we give people a long time to make sure they know about it... skipping someone's first round can ruin the whole draft

Looks like I accidentally cut off that part from the OP Here's what is was last time: You will have 6 hours to make your pick in each round, although this will be lax in the first round. You also cannot be skipped between 12am and 7am eastern time for those in USA#1, or in the middle of the night for those outside the US.

In this case I feel it makes sense to skip nich after 24 hours and then move him down the draft order until he shows up because I think straight skipping in the first round is too punishing.

I actually really kind of like 8 spot this year.
