black pepper, chili powder, cayenne, and red pepper flakes for the spiciness. Not sure which I put too much of lol. I also put a lot of other spices but those are the potential culprits.

Edit: it's not that spicy, just too spicy for the delicate palates I live with. I like it!

What's a good rate for (Long Term) parking at an airport? We are headed out of town for a week, and I can get parking for the 7 days for $138. Is that good?
06-23-2017 , 04:58 PM
What are your other options?
06-23-2017 , 05:10 PM
Long Term Parking at airport for $138
Filthy's Lyft guy who does shots while driving (both ways) for 5 lives

There are lots nearby the airport ranging from $15-20 per day (similar price to the Long Term parking, but negligibly cheaper).

my lyft guy who did a shot(seemed like a pretty generous swig from flask) drove just fine for the most part.

on the freeway i did only one "watch out!" and he said "i got it"

Well, it's a total ripoff, but you don't have any other serious options, so you pretty much have to go with that. It's like having Comcast internet.

I assume it's highly dependent on the airport. For LAX, I view a good rate as anything under $10 per day. Preferably around $8ish

For Los Angeles, there are Airport parking consolidators that will list the current best rates for a given time period for a 100 different lots.

if you pay for long term parking at LAX, maybe i could pay you to use your car while you are gone

Too late. We got back a few days ago. It would be funny watching you drive around in a minivan.

That seems ridiculous for parking. On site parking at DFW starts at $10 a day for the remote lots. If you're willing to park off site and ride a shuttle I think you can get it down close to $5 and some places will wash and detail your car while you're gone!

Really depends on location.

In Boston, you're going to be paying $15+ a day.
In Raleigh, if you pay more than $6 you're crazy.

PM me if you want some specific suggestions for an area, I do some expense management for my company and could probably look up local rates.

Marriage is a lot like long term airport parking for a man's penis when you think about it.
06-24-2017 , 12:37 PM
- you can shop around online for the best deal
- you might get it washed inside and out
- the alternative option is doing shots on the freeway

Uncanny parallels.

So apparently my ultra-improved medication makes me ultra-sensitive to heat. This week I learned what it's like to pass out...twice.

At least once was into the arms of a handsome paramedic. Could be worse.

It's a distinctly weird sensation because you have no sense whatsoever of time passing. It's like being put under a general anaesthetic. One moment you're thinking, "I feel a little strange" and the next moment it's like "wtf just happened."

I've told this story before, but 2 years ago a woman opposite me on the train into work was visibly upset and as I was talking to her it snowballed from a headache into a serious attack and I ended up putting her in an ambulance.

Then about 3 weeks later I noticed she was in the same carriage as me again, and pretty regularly after that with no obvious recognition for a couple of weeks until I decided I was going to have to either broach the subject or never ride that train again. It turned out she had no memory or anything from getting on the train until waking up in the emergency ward 8 hours later or whatever.

theory: kokiri was hitting on the woman and this was her way of letting him down without hurting his feelings
