When I was cliff notesing the brexit debacle last year they were in the pub IIRC, and no one moaned, further some of the people who encouraged me the most to continue them aren't really politics thread participants so I wanted to put them somewhere they'd be most likely to catch them. I worked on the principle that what people really objected to was the vitriolic back and forth rather than political content per se, and since these aren't really about an exchange of views because I'm right, whatevers.

But if people are really keen on a safe space free of political content of any form, then I'm sorry.

Maybe just put it in a spoiler under the heading "Political Content"?
